Dumptser Diving

When people discover that I indulge in dumpster diving from time to time they usually adopt a new view of myself. However, I challenge the negative stigma attached to such an activity. I found my desk chair in a pile of garbage and it happens to be the most comfortable chair I have ever owned. The garbage has also provided me with round-trip airplane tickets (thanks to Wendy's cups).

I guess what I'm trying to do here is see if there is anyone else around here who has done something akin to dumpster diving, and if so, what have you found?

The best thing is that I forgot about the in-game dumpster diving.

I'm friends with a scavenger who finds all kinds of good stuff. Bicycles. Working electronics. Once (not in a dumpster) he found a winning lottery ticket. That just doesn't happen.

Truth be told, I used to live on the streets.
Yes, it IS true that one man's trash is another man's treasure.
It can also lead to better survival when on the streets, too.
Word.

I found a mostly-working megaphone. That's just what comes to mind right off.
I remember it because I enjoyed working on making it better.
