I have been given the metaphorical keys to an account of a player who has decided to quit playing, so in an effort to redistribute the wealth here's a "contest" for you.

Rules: Complete a retcon in March worth at least 5 mettle. Run must start after March 1 and end before March 31. One prize per account.

Prizes: As you complete a run, you get to choose which of the items listed below you want to receive. Each line is a single prize. I'll remove them as they're sent out.

To claim a prize: Send a message to me in-game (#989) as soon as you finish your run and a list of three prizes you want in order, in case someone else finished just before you and asked for the same item.

This is actually a reason to retcon that I'm willing to throw my hat into. Now, if only I can get some more members for my league by then so my attempts at keeping prestige up doesn't fall by the wayside.

Unsurprisingly I'll be playing too please!

I don't know if I can complete a retcon before all the prizes are gone, but I'll give it a try.

That's a lot of prizes, though. I suck at this game, but have gotten prizes before, in contests that had a lot less prizes to get than this. It's not a matter of how fast you are, but how many people you have to compete with.

I assume that everything on one "line" is considered a single items for this endeavor? Thus, 16 potential winners.

It's also one prize per person, so it's not like you'll need to worry about bmara zipping through and nabbing all the prizes in 2 days.

As the numbers grow, I must be ready to step up my game. Since I'll be stepping away from my league to accomplish this, I must make it worth the loss of valuable prestige. Or, I have to get some more members in my league before I retcon so they can keep killing the league villains in my absence.

Delmar's in for this one! I too am dubious about my ability to complete a RETCON before all of the prizes are gone, though. Here's hoping for something good!

Just a heads up that this starts in 4 days. Plenty of prizes, so I think even the slowest run will be able to grab something good. The chip count is increasing every day since I'm farming the Castle with the account and will autosell all the items as soon as someone selects that prize.

I count 16 prizes all of which are great, and I think only 10 players so far.

Everyone should get involved!

I'll probably have to ask for someone's opinion on what to choose if I'm able to come up with a decent time. I don't know what any of those things do.

I can beat your best time at any point, or do I have to beat you to the end of the first retcon? Cause I just started a run yesterday and won't finish that until tomorrow.

Finish your current run and then compare your first run against my first run.

Looks like there's going to be some leftover prizes. I'm in a position where I don't want to retcon with my main. If I do the run with a multi, can my main get the prize?

Nope, whoever does the run gets the prize. For the next question (surprised no one asked), you can do a run with your main and each of your multis and claim a prize with each account.

I missed two days by about 6 turns. I'm so out of practice with all items.

Would've finished in 3 days but got taken to hospital so no turns yesterday.

Mine was 2 days @ 20 hrs, 32 min, 59 sec

But then again, I burned almost my entire stock of squids, as well as a bunch of red eyes. Red Eyes: 2791.67 min, and that's after a day and a half of running adventures.

Awesome incarnate

The last of the IOTM prizes are gone, but still a few good things left. I combined the special wooden cup with the Boomstick, since it was such a small prize.

Finally gave the last prizes away. I hope everyone enjoyed, and I'm glad enough people competed to get all that good stuff out to active accounts.
