They said it couldn't be done! A gadgeteer? At level 6? Beat the Troutmaster without using TNT or some other cheater item?

Multi-round stunners, mostly. So, Magic Deck of cards and Holiday Wreaths. Also, TNT because... damn, that's cheating. TNT was how I was in Triassic at level 6.Strlikecrazy wrote:What would you define as a 'cheater item'? Likely, it's everything I use
I intentionally avoided using lightning bolt to prove that Satan just sucks as playing Gadgeteers!TeKRunneR wrote:step 1: perm lightning bolt
Sadly for the Mick, he left me with 14 HP left. I had a gift for him:You're caught off guard, and your opponent acts first. Your opponent attacks ... He hits you for 135 + 129 (electric) damage.
Actually, I had several gifts for him, most of them were bundles of trinitrotoluene, but he really hated my last gift:You light the fuse and toss the TNT at your opponent. The ensuing explosion is gratifying, to say the least. When the rubble clears, you find your opponent has taken 1176 damage and is very slow to get up.
Then, like every adventurer everywhere, I looted his corpse!You wind up like a big league pitcher and hurl the fruitcake at your poor opponent. They weren't expecting a "food" fight, and get clocked solidly by the holiday "treat." At least you found a use for it. 53 damage worth of use.
Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!
You gain 2321 experience.
You got an item: blue chip
You got an item: the Mick's sketchy candy
You got an item: the Mick's Thunderbolt
You got an item: the Mick's gorilla vest
Stupid Ryme, he ruins everything. Let's get rid of that guy!Doc Igor wrote: Then, of course, Ryme ruined that. );
That's fair enough. I stick to FirestormCristiona wrote:Multi-round stunners, mostly. So, Magic Deck of cards and Holiday Wreaths. Also, TNT because... damn, that's cheating.
