Thanks for the well wishes all, means a lot to me.
Yeah it hurts less now than when the pic was taken, but still hurts. Yay meds; Bleh.
Laughing at the Darth jokes! Truly this time I don't need to make a costume, huh? Just add a little to what I have! LOL!
Dr says it's on for 3 weeks up to 4 months, depending on how fast the fractures mend, how harsh the pain is at each follow-up visit, and whatever the X-Rays show. Thank God I'm not paralyzed; Yes it was THAT close Dr's say.
It still hurts a bit to sit upright, but more annoying to just lay down seemingly forever. Even the short time it took to make this post the pain has increased a little, so downing another Tramadol and then back to bed. Ugh, I'll never complete my run this way! (Double-duty when I can, that's for sure!)
Don't listen to Tina Turner. We do need another hero.

When you do the best you can it's called a try!
If you don't you need to ask yourself why?
Just give it a thought,
And failure is worth naught.
And then like an eagle you shall fly!
