Truth be told, it only works if we get people to regularly play.

Ultimately, that might not work. We also need people to regularly read the forums, too. I think the ratio of forum-readers to players in Kingdom of Loathing is something like 1:5 (and posters 1:10). A lot of TH players came in from the forums, so we're probably closer to a 1:3 ratio. So getting people to play would certainly be helpful - but only if people also had reason to come to the forums.

Very good point, I don't play the others so I don't have the comparison but you point out two ways to sort it out.

Well, perhaps what we need is more things to get people to talk here? I'm not sure what those things would be...
