I was the coolest kid in 5th grade with my calculator watch!

Okay, so I was first introduced to this game (through KoL) not long after it started. I played very intermittently over the next 3 years - enough to get a few of the badges and items that require lots of time/effort, but I missed out on a lot of one time content. Then a few weeks ago Jick mentioned on a KoL radio show that he enjoyed playing it and retcon was a lot of fun and yadda yadda. So I came back, saw how much cool stuff had been added, and here I am. Last week I started what I intend to be 4 maso runs, one for each class, but who knows.

One other thing - I found KoL through TVTropes, I notice that TH doesn't appear to have an entry there. I know a lot of people hate anything associated with TVTropes, but I think it could be great indirect advertising for the game. The only thing is that I hate trying to edit stuff there. I am going to make a page, can people help populate it with examples/links/whatnot?

Hey, thanks for putting that up there, Mana. I wasn't really too familiar with TVTropes (may have visited it once), but it's nice too see how many different trope vitamins and minerals our game hits on a daily basis. A little bit of free advertising never hurts, but it's especially good when it's really on topic with what we do here.

Well hello everyone, both new and regular members! Welcome to you new peeps, and I sure did miss you regulars!
You may have wondered where this Noodlehead got to, well let me give you the short version:
I had a rather rushed move due to some black mold in the previous apartment that the landlord basically refused to deal with. Then, shortly after the move and before I could fully settle in, a bicycle accident! (No cars involved, just me, a sidewalk and an archway.)
Well now, a few months later, I am recovering well from the seven fractures in my neck and upper back and finding myself moving around better and able to do more things. Hopefully in a couple more weeks this brace I'm wearing will be gone and I can do even MORE!
Well, I got crime to fight so I'll end here. This IS supposed to be an introduction, but since I was gone so long I thought it better to post here than make a new thread. (I may be a Noodlehead, but I'm not stupid!)

As soon as my back allows I'll be taking time to sit and work once more on crime, but after about 5-8 minutes things get a bit painful.

I discovered TH by way of a tweet from KoL in December, though I didn't react fast enough to get in on the stuffed animal throw-down or the 2010 Wok talismans.
And needless to say, I love this game!

I recently joined Twilight Heroes and was immediately hooked, to the game and to the great community.
Lxndr was and is particularly helpful and generous; if you're reading this, thank you for your help!

Not least of my reasons for enjoying TH is because I love Kingdom of Loathing; astonishingly, I go by "TedDudz" there as well.

As point of interest, whilst I am not actually eighty-four years old, I do live in and love Washington (United States).

I been gone SOOOOO long, figured I best introduce myself again:
Hi, I'm Aldente and I've been offline for quite some time due to financial issues. I'm still not fully online, but a LOT closer than I used to be, as you can see!
My Level 13 Gadgeteer was under a bit of dust, meaning his sidekick Alforno Tortellini, the Jujitsu expert, took a vacation. Well I'm back and so is he, and we're all set to continue our (second?) run thru! (WOW! I got a TON of reading to do, but NOT the spoilers... YET!)
I'm still a mushroom (ie: fungi, or fun guy), but a LOT has changed in my life which has created, hmmmm, a bit more drama than I'd like. Suffice it to say THIS is an escape which I intend to return and retreat to as often as allowed!
