And, since most people go underwater to get the Eye, it shouldn't be game breaking.
Creative player ideas for in-game items, zones, etc.

I was kinda joking with the parallel to the sober pill. Probably /not/ a good idea.
The reason they were taken out of KoL was due to huge amounts of duping with the pills, and Jick just got fed up and took them out one night. On the other hand, maybe some sort of non tradeable special event reward or something would be the right way to do this....

Even better... let's remember that you're staying up because of the caffeine...
"You take the decaffeination pill. You lose 5 caffeine levels. You lose 120 minutes."

Even better, it gives a "Grab Opponent" button like the "Tame Animal" one. You then lose any bonuses from your weapon and start using the enemy as a weapon. 50% of the damage you do to the new monster is done to the old, and once the old is beaten up, you switch back to your weapon. Your weapon power could be your wielded enemy's current HP.mad hamish wrote:One of the unimplemented Naturalist skills should be ridiculous strength, allow you to wield certain things you would otherwise have no business wielding. Like a dumpster, or an Asp Evader.
Imagine... bashing a crawling robot with gunboat.

How about this, Ryme,
A computer program that enhances one's mental abilities to above normal, and, while not allowing one to achieve the mental abilities of a psion, it allows a non-psion to sustain a single aura. This would also have a level requirement to work, because it needs a well developed hero's mind to function at all, say, level 15.
To sum up:
A level 15 non-psion could use a computer program allowing them to have one aura active. I think this would work out to be rather balanced, while preserving the uniqueness of psions.

I agree. I was actually thinking a little while back about something similar, because right now the fact that Psions are the only ones to have Aura: Keen Observation seems VERY unbalanced. I could be wrong, but that seems to give Psions a big edge on the farming game. Not a huge advantage, but enough to be a problem.
