Because I don't want to waste my recyclonizer, and my other donated items, I usually do an 'all items' run.

I also enjoy naturally hyper.

In terms of skills - I'm a huge fan of the passive skills.

As a heavy skill user - I think I'd go for proper hydration which would give you a constant dribble of PP which would mean you can use those skills.
Meditation is a good one - means that you can play longer from earlier on.
Basic martial arts makes life easier cause you can then have a chance of hitting things with sticks.
Echolocation is useful to make finding items faster - so getting discs and computer parts is less painful

In terms of pay for skills - Healing is very useful - I like first aid. Alternatively fire shield often makes beating up the early minor foes much easier. If you're speedrunning - I think running Keen observation is a good idea.

Without points, Meditation is a pretty small boost. I'd go with Proper Hydration or Basic Martial arts.

Fire Within gets honorable mention as it also raises your max PP.

Meditation is pretty small boost even *with* all the points.

A good way to deal with Elem's low hp is to spend outrageous amounts of money on bandages, or spend a bit of money on bandages and a bit on an ambulance. Healing skills are for the weak!

Nommy gives good advice as Elemental and maso expert. I forgot the bandages - I only remember them for my maso competition runs.

I really miss all my skills when I go maso.
