Possible Chicagoland "Official TH meetup" in early July

This is by no means a sure thing, just opening up the idea to see if there's any interest. I will be in Chicago in early July, roughly July 3-6. If there's enough interest in an official Twilight Heroes meetup, I might be into arranging (or co-arranging with a Chicago native) a gathering.

Big questions are:

1) Date? Sunday is the 4th, and I know a lot of people will have plans then. Many people may have Monday the 5th off for the holiday, but some few might miss out if they have to go back to work/school/whatever.

2) Location. Depends a lot on quantity of people. Top choices in my mind are either outdoors along the lake, or at a restaurant with a room big enough to host a large party.

3) Swag? Again depending on interest (and I may require a few pre-orders to know it's worth it), I could look into some TH gear, like T-shirts, keychains, bumper stickers, or the like. Coffee mugs might be an obvious choice, I suppose.

Sign me up as a 95% definite. We have a work project that will be going pretty hot and heavy May-September, but I should be able to get away for a few days to get up to Chicago. It is my favorite city to visit, after all.

Unfortunately location isn't up to me. There's a wedding the following weekend, and I don't have any control over the location. If this first one goes well, I'll try to have other meetups when (if) I end up other places, but I don't get out of my neck of the woods all that often.

Sorry to bring this up so close to the deadline, but upon reviewing the list there were two yesses, one remote possibility, and about eight calls for cities in different parts of the country. That's not very promising as a group meet-up. Not sure what to do, but family and tourism may take precedent over fanfare and T-shirts. K3v, Harry, I guess I'll take this offline and see if you're still going to be around.

Gah, that's too bad, would've been fun. Maybe we could try another one once retcon comes out if it pulls the playerbase numbers up, though you probably wouldn't be in Chicago so it'd be harder for me to come. One day though, I'll finally be able to ask you how's life in person :p
