I made an 11000 bid for a silver star on auction. It was short and i bidded. Came on later to realize:
1) Star was gone and i didnt have it, so i presumed to have been outbid.
2) I only had 6k, my 11k was nowhere to be seen?
Is this part of the game or a bug? Cristiona told me on my post in Gen disc. that when overbid you dont loose your chips. Why have i?
EDIT: In anger i placed all my money on a bet and won, buying a silver star. This isnt 'the' star in question.

It is quite possibly a glitch caused by the lag. I've heard that it's possible for lag to eat chips in the casino. Sadly, this is the sort of thing that only Ryme can fix, so you'll have to wait for him to get on.

Player A posts an auction with a buyout value of 1000.
Player B, who starts with 1000 chips, bids 600 chips. They're left with 400.
Player C, who starts with 35043 chips, takes the 'buy it now', leaving them with 34043 chips and the item.
Player A now has 975 chips more (Not 1000 because of fees)
PLayer B still has 400 chips.
600 chips are missing.
I don't think it's lag.
Will Player B get their chips at the end of 3 days?
(Note: This is an actual test I performed.)

I think a lot of the auctions that actually went to the end of the auction weren't dispensing the chips and items at the end. I ran the script manually a few hours ago, and in theory it should have let all the auction winners get their stuff, and all the sellers get their chips, just belatedly. Can anyone confirm or deny if this went through? I'm concerned for all of these, but particularly for a big-ticket item like a donation piece.
I'll check the code about the buy-it-now. In theory those should have been working all along, because they're processed at the moment of the final bid. And yeah, it *should* be giving money back to anyone who was outbid, right at that instant. If it's not, I'll fix that right-quick.
