There are far more effective ways of trying to kill this thread. And yeah, call me out for proof, but if I gave you that, you'd use it. But it's definitely there.

On the contrary, a thread full of ":/" (coming from a proclaimed Devil, no less) provokes more than it shuts up. Not to mention he can't qualify anyways.
