Re: March's spading bounty
Heroes' Council has all of the effects- it's just that apparently our numbers are a tad off. I can tell you that none of them are item drops though.

Re: March's spading bounty
Gee, thanks, Captain Obvious. Do you want to head up my squad of untraied underlings and generic goons with first lieutenant rimshot?
I know I mashed up the first lieutenant part up a bit, but I couldn't remember what his real name was.

Some free info:
I believe four of the effects are HP restoration, PP restoration, Spell Damage and Weapon damage. They all seem to be +1.
The damage ones can only be discerned from patrolling, and spell damage is only discernible if your class does spell damage.
The restoration ones can be identified in many ways.
Thewsday (today) seems like +1 weapon damage.

How in the world are you supposed to discern a single point of damage difference >.> RNG itself covers a wider range, on top of differing states of weapon powers, level, buffs, that should be impossible to even notice >.>

Re: March's spading bounty
Umm, by not levelling and not having any buffs? Come on, Satan, you're a spader.
Re: March's spading bounty
I mean, without knowing you were supposed to be looking for it. If you had no idea the damage could be different per day, been given that hint, no one would've found it if it was just +1, it's way too small to not deem as randomness.

Re: March's spading bounty
Well, when you have enough data points, you can make any kind of conclusion...
Re: March's spading bounty
I discovered the +1 damage with just a few samples. I just noticed that familiars don't hit the minimum value today, and they hit a new maximum. +damage is probably a better name than +weapon damage.
Re: March's spading bounty
Sidekicks? Hmmm. Well, I don't think +damage applies to sidekicks, does it? It applies to weapons only, right? Also, Ryme's stated that these things have been in the game since before Beta started, and sidekicks weren't put in till after Beta started.
EDIT: Of course, he could've changed the benefit to affect sidekicks too when he put them in.

Re: March's spading bounty
Exactly. Because I saw it on a sidekick, and I knew it couldn't be sidekick only, as Ryme stated it is in the game longer than that, I assumed it is +damage to everything.Satan wrote:Sidekicks? Hmmm. Re: March's spading bounty
May as well repost this as we make changes. Don't see any point in keeping it secret.
Spaded (with questionable and inaccurate methods) by the Heroes' Council, as well as Valera.
Sunday - +2 HP while resting, and to restorative items
Moonday - +1 PP while resting, and to restorative items
Thewsday - +3 to attack damage
Winsday - +5 chip drops on all chip-dropping monsters
Starsday - +3 Spell damage, up to the cap for each.
Frayday - No time cap, already known.

Re: March's spading bounty
Well, technically you have named six things, and the answer to the puzzle is five things, but I'm not gonna be picky about it. We have a winner!
Now how the hell do I distribute a single prize to a council + valera? I guess K3v gets it for posting, and you folks can sort it out from there.

Re: March's spading bounty
Great reward... second only to a cape!
I've won the 100k DD bet so many times, I should have the title "Mr. Luck"
Re: March's spading bounty
Congrats to the winners.
Ryme, by giving the prize, are you approving that the numbers are accurate?

Re: March's spading bounty
Yep, the numbers are accurate. The phrasing on some of the wording might not be, in terms of exact circumstances. Try a rank bun on winsday, for instance.
