Tested this on an account...

You can indeed bring your Yith with you after you transmog, however, it's not especially game breaking:
Yith wrote:Your Yithian hands you a piece of metallic paper detailing your fight. It points out a couple things you hadn't thought of, and you find yourself thinking more about this combat. You gain 3 XP.
Old Friend wrote:In between fights you catch up with your friend, who seems to be full of "do you remember the time we ..." stories. Rehashing the best of your past is kind of nice, you think. You gain 5 XP.
Sculptor wrote:Captain Cannon Fodder makes a little sculpture of a uniformed civil servant. A police officer or fireman or something. You both pause to appreciate its beauty before it melts. You gain 1 XP.
Spider wrote:The spider does a shuffling little dance that partially reenacts some of the best moves from the recent fight. In a weird way this allows you to better understand how you won. You gain 3 XP.
I also tested the Yithian's damage:
Your Yithian points the strange weapon at your opponent and gives it a powerful blast. It does 12 + 12 damage.
That's probably a little more extreme, especially when the Gnoph-Keh and Hound of Tindalos were doing 4+4 or 5+5 (which is still a fair amount of pain at level 1).

My bad, trusted someone else's data from the wiki stating it was not level dependent.
Anyway, still supposedly it might be worthy to be removed on transmog if buffs are.

Re damage: also consider ice sculptor, an iotm, does 4ish damage on level 1.

Buff/temporary sidekicks will now leave when you transmog. Permanent sidekicks won't go anywhere.

Recyclonizer should link to Storage now.

Soul gazing should properly recognize physically resistant foes, and no longer specifically mentions the item doing the gazing.

Working on a fix for going with weapon unequipped, so it doesn't report the last one.

I just learned (by experience) that either super jumping or flying is required to rent things at Quincy's Airship Emporium. However, you can still access the shop, even without these abilities, you just can't buy there. I think it would be better to completely deny access.

It appears that when equipped with the Treader of the Dust's Sandals, you get the PP gain in the PVP arena, even though that equipment should not have any effect when dueling there.

This seems to only happen when you are victorious in your duel. You don't get the 10 PP per turn if you lose a duel.

Strange.

The sub-atom ant has no references to the song "Goody Two Shoes".

The chip drop effect from insanely super XL bowl, Beggar appearance, does not seem to effect non-combats.
I'm pretty sure it does work on combats, since I got an extended range. There is no special message if there was supposed to be one.

It's just chips drop, like any other +chips item. Just a joke name to the effect. No special message, shouldn't affect noncombats except for chips drop ones.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. It does not effect chip drop adventures as far as I can tell. That was the major point. I am too drunk now to remember how I tested, I will retest tomorrow if I have time.

I'm about as sure as I can be that the chips drop is working, unless for some reason it's universally broken right now.

Seems like I did my test based on bogus data from the wiki (specifically, it stated Here Comes the Bribe has a constant chip drop, where it seems to be variable) and too few data points. I will repeat it tomorrow, as today is winsday and I can't trust that data.

Not sure if this is a bug or a simple "not implemented yet", but frusion speck/filament/tendril don't seem to work in combat outside hyde park. Actually, it could be intentional, in which case the message is wrong.

I may have "variablized" a couple of older drops at one point or another. Possibly when I had +chips affect noncombats.

There is a minor problem with the "Go Fish" quest. If you reach level 6 before finishing the C.H.I.P.S. quest and talk to Rand he gives you his talk for the beginning of the "Go Fish" quest, but the quest does not appear in the Journal, nor is it really started. When you finish C.H.I.P.S., the quest suddenly appears in your journal.

Sorry, I'm back at the +chips for noncombats thing. I'm still not done testing but I though I'd post it anyway just so I can see if I'm not totally wasting my time.

I started with figuring out the range for "Here Comes the Bribe". After 16 hrs of in-game time I got 20-30. Round number so I'm happy.

I adventured with clockwork ant, a +chips familiar. I got 20 chips at least once.
I adventured with snout, +chips buff. I got 20 chips at least once.
I adventured with snout and Aura: Keen Observation. I got 20 chips at least once.
I adventured with snout, Aura: Keen Observation, and insanely super XL bowl. I got 20 chips at least once.

Am I doing something wrong here? Maybe my original range is wrong, I can do another day of that to make sure. But I never saw less than 20 or more than 30 for just about every setting.

Edit: added more data

Edit2: Issue corrected and can be removed.

I'm not really expecting anything to be done about this one, but anyway. You can beat yourself up to death against frusion foes.

You beat yourself up, and have lost the battle. Your foe walks away laughing, but only after he picks your pocket, taking 10 chips.

How exactly does a frusion foe take chips? I thought they were ethereal.

Maybe a non-ethereal non-frusion guy-who-uses-to-steal- sees you like that and takes a couple of chips away?

Against frusion foes, magic deck of cards gives the regular message, but it stuns for only one round (the round in which it was used). In the context of frusion foes the message doesn't make much sense either.

More frusion foe minor issues. squidopus ink gives a failure message: You whip out a pouch of squidopus ink and squirt it into your opponent's eyes, but it passes through harmlessly. But, it stuns the foe for the round in which it was used.

I was in my inventory, and clicked the "[visit hideout to change]" on my Ember in a Bottle talisman.

It took me an invalid page with the ooooold TH logo on it.

While we're at it the usual 404 page which should have had that image is missing it. For example try http://www.twilightheroes.com/images/abc.jpg. I believe the source has an erroneous relative path <img src="images/twilight_heroes3.jpg"

(sorry if this was already reported)
In the auction hause, under 'miscellanous items', there are two sub-categories: 'edible items' and 'sidekicks'.
The former works - it will only show the miscellanous items that are actually edible(duh), the latter doesn't...it should show all the sidekick-giving items on auction but doesn't(it doesn't show the summoning cones and clockwork which CAN be seen under misc items at least.)
Accounts: Kurg is my main, then there's Zap/Zorzos/Kalios who are (mostly)unused multis.

The same text has Ebeneezer fixing it: "he says as he's fixing your EEK meter."

I can add to this that I still get the standard 140-160 from the Cube noncombat with the Extortionist and some other +chip stuff.

Unless it being a choice adventure makes it not a noncombat?

I'm pretty sure there's something keeping sidekicks from affecting noncombats. Other chips boosters (equipment, effects, skills) ought to be working just fine, in theory. For the purposes of this discussion, anything that involves text and chips and no fighting would be a "noncombat." Choices wouldn't change that.

It's also possible I've just got bad code in one particular adventure. Though I'm pretty sure I got them all when the change went in.

If you try to run away, get "A Partying Shot", and that shot is blocked by the Grumpy old smuggler, you oddly get the attack form again. Here's a screen shot:

Edit: I verified that this happens every time a partying shot is blocked.

Am I at least checking it correctly? I see 20 chips from that adventure with effects from sidekicks, buffs, wearing items and auras. None of them seem to effect it.

Edit: Some more data. I tried the "What Luck!" adventure which gives a constant 20 chips. No matter how much I buff myself it gives 20 chips. So this adventure doesn't work as well.

You attack ... you aren't quite sure what you did, but it was good. You must have found some crazy setting, because you didn't just hit, you didn't even blast. Buddy, you annihilated your opponent. And not just once, but 1 times for a jaw dropping 16 +4 +18 damage.

Yes! not just once, but 1 times!

Solitude is also wearing Roderick's Boots and a royal crown, and still doesn't get any more from Intermission than the usual 140-160.

I was terribly confused by this for a long while, because I was looking at the shipping clerk. Apparently I accidentally kept the same title for the rave adventure as well. The chips ranges are dramatically different for the two, and that was quite confusing. (I've updated the title on the Grifter one, because Bribe doesn't even make sense in that context.)

Not coincidentally, since one was used as a template for the other, it turns out that both of those adventures weren't properly accounting for chips drop boost. Apparently the same issue applied to What Luck! and a few others as well. Pretty sure I've got them all now. Good sleuthing!

I can now reiterate my original claim that sidekicks don't affect chips drops, but buffs, equipment, etc. all do.

Sorry for the confusion, I didn't realize they both had the same title. We don't have the results of choice encounters as separate pages in the wiki so it is not easy to find out.
Anyway, from the little testing I did chips drop modifiers are now affecting non-combats as they should, except of course sidekicks. Are we expecting a change making sidekicks work too, or is this going to stay?

Not in the immediate future. I'd have to redo all the sidekick code for it to work, I fear. Eventually I'd like to make them work too, though.
