Re: Minor interface tweak requests

A colour change for the chat. System messages (like the result of /who) and outgoing PMs are the same undistinguished green.

Yeah, hi.

What is it about Somerset? The intro text says you got hit by a UFO and then got a talisman, or something. So my guess is that the UFO patrols the place. The sheer number of superheroes on the good side keeps it relatively safe. The Heroes Guild was set up because, well, you probably know unions be...

No, dollars are the "official" currency. Chips just get you a lot farther in the underground world than do dollars, so you use them instead.

IMO the easiest way to nerf leveling is to cut the adrenaline rush in half. From 60 to 30 minutes. Narrative justification is unneeded.

Scaling monsters do scale to HP, at least that's what I've noticed about the pit. Although it could just be a question of monster level, but I somehow doubt that. So yeah, this could be sort of game breaking.

The monsters in the pit suddenly seemed to gain psychic resistance. Lots of it. Then I used a spell outside of the pit, which dealt regular damage. The pit monsters went back to normal after that.

Unless they were supposed to have psychic resistance, in which case that'd be a bug anyway. ><

I'm curious. What exactly was the loophole? If it was fixed, there's no harm in describing it. It had to do with resting, I believe. Actually, it should only allow auctions to be canceled when there are no bids yet. Since bids are being tracked now, that shouldn't be a problem.

Mine was especially odd. It broke after step 3 and never reached step 4, maybe because of rollover. I know I saw the effect there, but it was gone the next day. This thread has gone far enough. Nothing new is being added to the discussion. When someone who does know what's going on comes by, they also have the ability to post in a locked thread anyway.

It's not a server hiccup, that much I can assure you of. Everyone's directed to verify.php as usual, but not everyone's allowed to pass through.

So that points to a bug lockdown. Unless there's another reason, but why else would the game be left up and running?

I took the liberty of adding that Official Forum Ruling to the FAQ thread. It's under paragraph 6b, because I couldn't find anyplace better to put it. And it deserves to be up there, to avoid further occurrences of this sort.
