The Metric Satan
I'd just like to announce that the Metric Satan has reached 1297 USD, and I feel it is appropriate that it stabilizes at this value. I'm glad my player ID was not higher.

Re: March Podcast Thread
Personally, I would like to know, how did I beat the ZOMega ? I understand most of the ZOM skill mechanics, but I was doing zero damage no matter what I tried during the first several battles, until suddenly I wasn't. I know you're not outright going to tell us, so can I get one of the following ans...

Sorry I can't find a root cause analysis for this, but "/count star" returns "You don't have anything in your inventory that matches 'star'.", even though I clearly have things with star. For instance "/count silver star" works.

When attempting to do /count in chat with ' in the search, example: "/count rainbow's ark pill", no message is returned at all. EDIT: It was pointed out by hoy that "/count rainbow\'s ark pill" will work, so the solution would be to pre-escape ' that are entered in the search par...

The soothing purple of the dreampants makes you feel better. Almost like royalty. You gain 24 HP.Being able to fly is letting you map this territory much faster than you would be able to on foot. No space/paragraph breaks between dreampants and astral badlands activation message. Should be good now,...

Re: State of the Game 2015
Addressing solely the part about a badge for finding bugs, there is an item gifted by the admins for finding bugs (either by finding lots of small bugs, or a seriously game breaking bug). It's rare to find those game breaking bugs now that the game has left beta, but bugs still happen.

Re: Kickstarter Ad Campaign
KS actually takes 5%, and the processor fees vary between 3 and 5%. These are also /usually/ tax free as they're an investment cost, but obviously consult a tax professional. But yes, you do need to account for around 10% going elsewhere.

Re: Kickstarter Ad Campaign
I can understand that. I had assumed most current players would continue donating normally, so the kick starter would just be extra money for ads only. But I suppose if those new players from KS had lots of stars, it might be awhile before they donated normally.

In this case, the product we're attempting to create is not the finished game, but a playerbase for the already finished game, via advertising. Which, like you said, is hard to fund through normal donations when you have to pay running costs. Even if we do occasional advertising with spare donations...

Kickstarter Ad Campaign
So I wanted to get some ideas out about this. But first it's important to understand what exactly we would need for an ad campaign to be successful, and second, how much it would cost. And we'll also need to create promotional material about the game for the kickstarter- atleast one video from Kinak...

So, in the beginning, chat and forums were both fairly active. Not KoL active, but you could atleast count on conversations to be happening most of the time. Re: State of the Game 2015
The only real solution is large influx from great advertising. People trickle in, see that not many people are here, and don't stay to play. I used to play every day, and then almost every day, and now almost not at all. Granted, that's partially because I've just gotten busy, but also because of th...

Ok, I had thought the message showed up based on total eggs destroyed, not based on the damage counter. I can only survive until the turn where I take 300 (well, 290), so I never saw the message. I popped a bunch of eggs and never saw the future may be saved message at the beginning of the day. When I went back to future to see how the frogs were, they did only 1 damage to me, so clearly I wasted a lot of time. The future message might have a bug where it's not showing? Or it happened the fi...

Re: froggy madness
My only guess is that you go back in time, pop open a bunch of eggs, kill their respective voracious tadpoles, then go back to the future's past, and the reign is weaker. But I didn't have time to test that theory yesterday.

Re: froggy madness
I'm a bit concerned by this event. I clearly can't beat the reign of frogs with my level 10 character, but I can't even seem to beat the eggs, because they start doing 90+ damage per round. Wiki isn't very up to date with this stuff, but it sounds like the reign might drop things the tadpoles don't?...

Ohhhh. To be honest, I didn't even comprehend that those were links on the Favorite x part. Not sure why it would matter what the order is there. But it looks like it's highest first, then alphabetic on the name descending.

I'm confused. How are you seeing retcons listed on your character sheet? I can see your history by going to your character profile (not sheet), and clicking on the link next to retcon history. I don't see anything related to retcons at all on my own character sheet.

I hate to even report this... But I think there's something up with the heirloom knife damage. Fresh level 1, wearing only a mettle medal, starting suit, and the knife (at +4 damage), I'm getting stuff like 203 damage on a non-crit against the starting enemies. EDIT: Was level 2, fumbled and killed ...

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but can we get comically oversized keys as free pulls? The only purpose they serve is assembly with gold foil for making keys to the city for prestige. Although I just noticed this has an autosell value of 500. Why is that? That seems like a large waste...

Logged out and back in, the top pane issue is still there. Could be I just need to transmog for it to reset me properly, I'll let you know tonight what happens.
EDIT: Confirmed that the negative range is fixed, but the top pane still thinks you can go to university when you can't.

Not certain that the bug report feature is working, or perhaps my report was just missed. But there's an issue when transmogging with mechanic sidekick on. It would appear that the code sets your range directly to 0 and ignores the mechanic's + 1, so that when you equip any transport, you get its no...
